Arunima Sinha has been a national star volleyball player, the world's first Indian Divyang woman to climb Mount Everest after an accident. In a train accident lost one of leg. Courage, determination, and dedication played an important role in making Arunima Sinha achieve her goal.
Arunima Sinha was born in 1988 in Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Arunima Sinha is a national-level volleyball player. And the first woman to climb the Everest summit is the Indian Divyang.
Life introduction :
Arunima was born in a Kayastha family in Uttar Pradesh. Arunima has represented India in the Indian volleyball team 7 times. And he was the first Indian to wave the flag of India on Mount Everest as well as Mount Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Mount Elbrus (Russia), Mount Kosciusko (Australia), Mount Aconcagua (South America), Carstensz Pyramid (Indonesia), Mount Vinson. Arunima's father was an engineer, serving in the Indian Army. Arunima also has an elder sister and a younger brother. Arunima had a great interest in football and volleyball since childhood. Arunima has played at the state and national level several times due to being the topper in the game. Arunima wanted to join Param Paramilitary Force.

Train Accident:
On 12 April 2011, Arunima was going from Lucknow to Delhi on the Padmavati Express to take the CISF exam. In the night in the train, some miscreants misbehaved with her and tried to snatch the chain off her throats, she protested and after much struggle, those miscreants threw Arunima down from the train. Due to which Arunima Sinha's left leg got cut off in the middle of the tracks, all night Arunima Sinha screamed in pain with a severed leg, and after passing about 40 to 50 trains, Arunima Sinha fully expected her life. Had been discovered, but perhaps the fate of Arunima Sinha's life was to be approved a bit more, and when people came to know about this incident, people took her to a nearby hospital and they admitted her to Delhi's AIIMS. She was treated for 4 months in AIIMS. His left leg was then left with a prosthetic leg. Seeing this condition of Arunima, the doctors had also given up and advised them to take rest. Arunima's family and relatives were also weak, but Arunima did not lose her courage and always kept the hope of doing something in her heart.

Honors and awards :
Now Arunima Sinha has made a goal to hoist the tricolor on the highest peaks of the seven continents of the world. In this sequence, so far, she completed the target.
In 2015, Arunima Sinha was honored with the Padma Shri by the Government of India, which is India's fourth-highest award. In 2016, she also received the First Lady, was also given the Malala Award, Rani Laxmibai Award, and Sultanpur Ratna Award.
Arunima Sinha also got a job offer in Indian Railways and CISF.
The Bharat-Bharati Society of Sultanpur district in Uttar Pradesh also awarded the Sultanpur Ratna Award to this disabled woman who hoisted the tricolor on Mount Everest, the world's highest peak. In 2016, Arunima Sinha was awarded the Ambedkar Nagar Ratna Award at the Ambedkar Festival.
Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh, gave Arunima Sinha Rs. 2500000 and Rs. He was honored with a check of 2000000. The Indian Sports Ministry has also appreciated her a lot. Arunima Sinha is now fully engaged in social service and is looking to open a sports academy that is for the poor and the differently-abled.

अरुणिमा सिन्हा राष्ट्रीय स्टार की वालीबॉल खिलाडी रह चुकी है, एक दुर्घटना के बाद माउंट एवेरेस्ट पर चढ़ने वाली दुनिया की पहली भारतीय दिव्यांग महिला। एक ट्रैन दुर्घटना में अपना एक पैर खो दिया। अरुणिमा सिन्हा को अपना लक्ष्य प्राप्त करने में साहस, दृढ संकल्प और समर्पण ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
अरुणिमा सिन्हा का जन्म 1988 में उत्तर प्रदेश के सुल्तन्पुर जिले मे हुअ था । अरुनिमा सिन्हा नेशनल लेवल की वॉलीबॉल खिलाड़ी है। और एवरेस्ट शिखर पर चढ़ने वाली पहली महिला भारतीय दिव्यांग है ।
जीवन परिचय :
अरुणिमा का जन्म एक कायस्थ परिवार में उत्तर प्रदेश में हुआ था । अरुणिमा इंडियन वालीबॉल टीम में 7 बार भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व कर चुकी हैं । और वह माउंट एवरेस्ट के साथ-साथ माउंट Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), माउंट Elbrus (Russia), माउंट Kosciusko (Australia), माउंट Aconcagua (South America), Carstensz Pyramid (Indonesia), माउंट विन्सन , पर भारत का झंडा लहराने वाली पहली भारतीय दिवायंग महिला है। अरुणिमा के पिताजी एक इंजीनियर थे, जो इंडियन आर्मी में कार्यरत थे। अरुणिमा की एक बड़ी बहन और एक छोटे भाई भी हैं। अरुणिमा की बचपन से ही फुटबॉल और वॉलीबॉल में काफी रूचि थी। खले में अव्वल होने के कारन अरुणिमा राज्य और नेशनल लेवल पे कई बार खेल चुकी है। अरुणिमा परम पैरामिलिट्री फोर्स जॉइन करना चाहती थी।

ट्रेन दुर्घटना :
12 अप्रैल 2011 को अरुणिमा CISF की परीक्षा देने के लिए पद्मावती एक्सप्रेस से लखनऊ से दिल्ली जा रही थी। ट्रेन में रात को कुछ बदमाश चोरो ने उनके साथ बद्तमीजी की और उनके गले का चेन छीनने की कोशिश की, इसका उन्होंने विरोध किया और काफी जद्दोजहद के बाद उन बदमाशों ने अरुणिमा को ट्रेन से नीचे फेंक दिया। जिसकी वजह से अरुणिमा सिन्हा का बाया पैर पटरियों के बीच में आने से कट गया, पूरी रात अरुणिमा सिन्हा कटे हुए पैर के साथ दर्द से चीखती चिल्लाती रही, और लगभग 40 से 50 ट्रेन गुजरने के बाद पूरी तरह अरुणिमा सिन्हा ने अपने जीवन की आस खोज

चुकी थी, लेकिन शायद अरुणिमा सिन्हा के जीवन की किस्मत को कुछ और ही मंजूर देना था, और जब इस घटना का लोगों को पता चला तो लोगों ने पास के नजदीकी हॉस्पिटल में उनको लेके गए और फिर उसके बाद उनको दिल्ली के AIIMS में भर्ती कराया गया, एम्स में 4 महीने उनका इलाज चला। उसके बाद उनके बाएं पैर को एक कृत्रिम पैर के सहारे छोड़ दिया गया । अरुणिमा की इस हालत को देखकर डॉक्टर भी हार मान चुके थे, और उन्हें आराम करने की सलाह दिए। अरुणिमा के परिवार वाले और रिश्तेदार की नजर में भी कमजोर और विकलांग हो चुकी थी, लेकिन अरुणिमा ने अपना हौसला नहीं खोया और कुछ कर गुजरने की आशा हमेशा अपने दिल में जलाये रखी।

सम्मान और पुरस्कार :
अब अरुणिमा सिन्हा ने एक लक्ष्य बनाया है कि वह दुनिया के सात महाद्वीपों की जो सबसे ऊंची चोटी हैं उन सबप पर तिरंगा फहराना है। इस क्रम में अब तक उन्होंने अब तक ०६ लक्ष्य को पूरा कर चुकी है।
2015 में अरुणिमा सिन्हा को भारत सर्कार ने पद्मश्री सम्मान से नावजा है, जो कि भारत का चौथा हाईएस्ट अवॉर्ड है। 2016 में उन्हें फर्स्ट लेडी का भी अवार्ड मिला, इनको मलाला अवार्ड भी दिया गया, रानी लक्ष्मीबाई अवार्ड और सुल्तानपुर रत्न के अवार्ड से भी नवाजा गया।
अरुणिमा सिन्हा को भारतीय रेल और CISF में जॉब का भी ऑफर मिला।

उत्तर प्रदेश में सुल्तानपुर जिले के भारत-भारती संस्था ने दुनिया की सबसे ऊंची चोटी माउंट एवरेस्ट पर तिरंगा फहराने वाली इस विकलांग महिला को सुल्तानपुर रत्न अवार्ड से भी नवाजा। 2016 में अरुणिमा सिन्हा को आंबेडकर महोत्सव में अंबेडकरनगर रत्न पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया।
उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के चीफ मिनिस्टर अखिलेश यादव ने अरुणिमा सिन्हा को Rs. 2500000 और Rs. 2000000 के चेक से उनका सम्मान सम्मानित किया। इंडियन स्पोर्ट्स मिनिस्ट्री ने भी उनको काफी सराहा है। अरुणिमा सिन्हा अब पूरी तरह से समाज सेवा में लग गई है और वह एक स्पोर्ट्स अकैडमी खोलना चाह रही है जो कि गरीब और दिव्यांगों के लिए हो।
