Mark Zuckerberg born in white plains New York, America, he is an internet entrepreneur, a philanthropist known for co-founding Facebook, the solar sail spacecraft development project breakthrough starshot.
Mark Zuckerberg attended Harvard University, where he launched Facebook social networking service on February 4, 2004, with college roommates Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes. Originally it was launched to select college campuses and friends. This site expands like anything and went beyond the college. Reached one billion users by 2012. Major share was taken by Zuckerberg and became the world's youngest self-made billionaire at the age of 23. As of now, he is the only person under 40 years old in the Forbes list of 20 richest people.
Time Magazine has named among the top 100 most influential people in the world. Ranked 10th in Dec 2016.
Early Days
His parents are doctors Karen a psychiatrist and Edward Zuckerberg a dentist. In the family, he has 03 sisters Randi, Donna, and Arielle. Zuckerberg was raised in a Reform Jewish household in a small village about 21 miles from Midtown Manhattan.
Zuckerberg excelled in classes. After two years he attended private school Philips Exeter Academy. Here he did great work and won prizes in mathematics, astronomy, physics, and classical studies. On his application to college, he stated that he could read and write French, Hebrew, Latin, and ancient Greek. he was captain of the fencing team.

During middle school, Zuckerberg uses to write software. His father taught him some programming e.g. Basic. He hired a private tutor to learn software David Newman. Mark Zuckerberg completed his graduate course in one software when he was in High School. He built a software program called "ZuckNet" that gave access to all the computers between the house and dental office to communicate with each other.
During high school, he worked in a company name Intelligent Media Group to build a music player, Name that player was Synapse Media Player. Used machine learning to learn the listening habits of users and can receive a message rating 3 out of 5 from PC Magazine.
College Time
In 2002 Mark Zuckerberg attended classes at Harvard and he has achieved a reputation as a programming prodigy. He excels in many subjects like psychology, computer science and belonged to Alpha Epsilon Pi and the computer house. He wrote a program called CourseMatch, which allowed him to make class selection decisions based on the choices of other students to help them. After that, he created another program FaceMash that allows students to select the best-looking person from photos.
Now we have books called Facebook where two pictures of two males and two females can be compared. Visitors to the site had to choose who was hotter and according to the vote, there would be ranking. This site went up over the weekend but closed by Monday morning because its popularity had overwhelmed one of Harvard's network switches and prevented students from accessing the internet. Many students also complained that their photos were being used without permission. Zuckerberg apologized publicly.
In the year 2004 Zuckerberg wrote new code and on Feb 4, 2004, he launched a new website called Thefacebook.com. After six days he was accused of using ideas and making a competing product.
Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard in his sophomore year in order to complete his project and he called again in January 2014. On May 25, 2017, he received an honorary degree from Harvard.
Professional Career
Once at college, Zuckerberg's Facebook started off as just a " Harvard thing" until Zuckerberg decided to spread it to other schools. His roommate helped Dustin Moskovitz. They contacted many universities like Columbia University, New York University, Stanford University, Dartmouth, Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, Brown University, and Yale University, it spread up to many universities.
Mark Zuckerberg and Dustin Moskovitz and other friends shifted to Palo Alto California in Silicon Valley, where they started work and leased a small house and arranged his first office. Group invested in the site and major corporation offers to buy the company, but they refused.
Vanity Fair magazine named Zuckerberg number 1 on its 2010 list of the top 100 most influential people of the information age. Mark Zuckerberg ranked number 23 on the Vanity Fair 100 list in 2009. New statesman's annual survey chosen as number 16 of the world's top 50 most influential figures.
On October 1, 2012, Zuckerberg met with the Russian Prime Minister to stimulate social media innovation in the Russian market. In 2012 approximately 09 million Facebook users reached Russia. Facebook's head of consumer marketing, claimed that 85 million American Facebook users were exposed to the first day of the Home promotional campaign on April6, 2013.
Zuckerberg named one of the Top 10 Business Visionaries creating value for the World along with Elon Musk due to the fact that his wife pledged to give away 99% of their wealth which is estimated at $55.0 billion.
Facebook acquire the photo-sharing app Instagram in 2012 and the global messaging service Whatsapp in 2014. In January 2019, Zuckerberg laid plans to integrate end to end encrypted system for three major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp. On Aug 14, 2020, Facebook integrated a chat system including Facebook and Instagram.
Zuckerberg announced Beacon a social advertising system on Nov 6, 2007, that enabled people to share information with their friends based on their browsing history on other sites.
Zuckerberg was added to MIT Technology review's TR35 list as one of the top innovators in the world under the age of 35 in 2007.
Zuckerberg announced Facebook Connect a version of the Facebook platform for users. In late Aug 2013, Facebook launched project Internet.org, its aim to provide internet access to five billion people who are not connected as of the launch date. Internet.org project may create new jobs and open new markets using a three-tier strategy as Zuckerberg stated in a post.
A movie also released on Oct 1, 2010, based on Mark Zuckerberg's life starring Jesse Eisenberg. Upon successful release, this movie grabbed Golden Globe Award for best picture. Producer of the movie thanks Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook to allow for filming.

Mark Zuckerberg donated an undisclosed amount to Diaspora, an open-source personal Web Server that implements a distributed social networking service.
