Silence:

The idea is to quiet mind chatter for few minutes in the morning. Meditation, prayer can be the tool. Time of silence is more productive than all times you have in a day. Few minutes of silence will make you more connected to the soul. Being in silence may make you happier. It could be prayer or mediation or just sit and relax in a corner don't think about anything.

Affirmations:

Affirmation is to say yourself, Encouraging words you tell yourself to achieve your goals. The best method is to write down all goals, break that goal into simple sub-goals. Write some positive affirmations related to your goals. Read these affirmations daily. Say your self that you achieved your goal step by step. Start your day with goals in your mind.

Spending some time daily reading will never go in vain. Read positive thoughts, read personal development books, self-help books, professional books,  reading is just raw material for your mind, what will you read that you will become, because mind and body always react on your thoughts, and thoughts are being cultivated by reading books. Read at least five minutes daily, as we are providing nutrition to our body daily similarly provide nutrition to your mind also.
