Two friends were traveling to their hometown, luckily they belong to the same village and going through the same pathway. Both saw a bag full of gems and jewelry on the side of the way and one of them picked it up and taken the ownerships of the bag and said, Thank you god what a lucky day. It is what I want now I will not be poor, the bag is full of gems and jewelry. Thanks for this bag.
Another friend replied don't say I have found this bag, rather say we found this bag and how lucky we both are that God gave us this bag full of gems and jewelry. We found this bag now we both will be rich and our life will become easy.
No No disagreed with the other friend who found the bag and he denied and claims his ownership of the bag. He said I picked it up so it belongs to me only.
As the two friends were discussing the ownership of the bag, they heard a shout and saw that group of people coming towards them and shouting “Stop, thief! Catch them stop thief”. And both were shocked that the group was armed and angrily coming to them.
The friend with the bag was fearful and shivering and said that brother we are in trouble. He started crying and told, we should run now for our life.
“No, no,” replied the other, “You did not say ‘we’ before when you had to share your bag, so now stick to your ‘I’. Say ‘I am in trouble.’ Don’t try to share your bad time now, when you were not ready to share your money earlier. I am not with you now. You have to face the mob alone.
Moral of the story:
We cannot expect anyone to share our misfortunes unless we are willing to share our good fortune also. We have to share happiness with everyone so that we can get companions in bad times.
